Recomposition Apparatus reimagines the familiar compact as a portable machine for getting yourself back together.

Built around a system of rotating layers, the object contains a mirror, removable comb and storage compartments within a tactile, mechanical form. Designed, fabricated and performed as a fictional piece of personal technology.
